FYUS make music for broken times. Loud, angry, vulnerable. Somewhere between indie rock and punk, between demolition and embrace. Their songs search for hope where there seems to be none left.
On their second album “heal”, FYUS stare the state of the world straight in the face – and themselves along with it. The songs deal with alcohol, mental health, masculinity, protest, loneliness and loss. No escape, no cynicism. Instead: raw honesty, self-criticism and the attempt to pull something healing out of the chaos.
Live, this means pressure, dynamics and zero safety distance. FYUS switch effortlessly from abrasive to fragile, from rage to hope – always at full intensity. Since their DIY debut “Joy In Despair” (2022), the Aachen-based trio has toured relentlessly across Germany. In 2025, “heal” was released via Barhill Records.
FYUS are not a feel-good band. They are an open vent.
